Happy Birthday O
estudiante de la vida 0 Comments S.T.E.A.M.
Thank for writing us every single year.
Means so much to know how much you still care
Today is a special day, and we want to try something new
We are going to write a poem that will celebrate you
Been a few years since we left, but we are watching over you every day
We departed from our vessels but in your heart we’ll always stay
Don’t you worry about us, we are doing very well
Permanent vacation, staying in our cloud 9 hotel
Our Omie Ohms, you are stronger than you know
So we sent some barriers for you to break through, so that you can grow.
But please never worry as we left our strength behind
So never feel discouraged for the next mountain you’ll have to climb.
The world we left isn’t easy. We had our share of battles.
Whenever we fell down we got right back on our saddles
Sometimes life was a raging river and we were stuck without our paddles
But God always cleared the way, so eventually we became less rattled.
Congrats on your promotion, we saw the amount of work you did.
But you always kept your calm, although you may have been close to blowing your lid
Our Omar, you were never alone, we’d intervene if we had to
But you are always in control, and we’d send you signs so that we can remind you.
Stop comparing yourself to others. You are on your own journey.
Because you only see the reels, you don’t know their whole story.
Yes you made some mistakes, but you accomplished just as much
So many faces you made smile, so many spirits you have touched.
We patiently await until we meet again
But there is no rush, for life is made for enjoyment
What you do on earth honors us greatly
And no matter how old you get, you will always be our baby.
Happy Birthday

I was blessed to be born with a mom and a dad.
But when I was younger i didn’t realize the wealth that I had.
I complained a lot, just like every kid,
But so many of my peers didn’t get what I did.
It’s different kinda peace when your blessed with two parents
So many studies show, that the child gets the advantage.
A nurturer and disciplinarian where sometimes the roles are reversed
Yields a well balanced child, who’d most likely stay the course
Im at an age, where I think about this a lot.
For my children’s future it’s best to tie the knot.
But marrying just anyone, can really stir the pot.
Hoping for a fairy tale, but you may not be happy with the plot
If I brought a child in this world, I think that would’ve been selfish.
Their childhood wouldn’t be easy, and their love of life might perish
The challenges of life, may jade them from the beginning
because no child is born with an adult’s understanding.
But life isn’t forever, only getting older
Impatience is setting in, questioning divine order
So I’m looking towards my guiding light, hoping for some direction
Overly discerning that I make the right selection.
You possess
estudiante de la vida 0 Comments S.T.E.A.M.
You possess a strength
That many wish they had
Carry a weight on your shoulder
The healthcare of dad
But god sees what you do
Granny and grandpa are thanking you too
Poppy and grandma are so proud of you
You are amazing and just so beautiful,
But my words are just that
I wish I could offer more
But I’m grateful for you
You’re an angel to the core
May you never question your fortitude
Because you’re tough just like leather
And since we get our strength from you
We will get through this together
The Present is a gift
estudiante de la vida 0 Comments S.T.E.A.M.
The present is a gift
The proof is, you exist
I fear I’m Ill equipped
To enjoy life without you in it
You seem to always get me
It seem like we share our thoughts
I wonder if this is destiny
A gift from the Gods
Glad you woke up this morning
We were given another day
I’ll admit, that I am whipped
I know this feeling will never go away
Te quiero my lovely
God thank you foo Mek she
I want to be around you all the time
Because You make me just so happy.
I think of you often
estudiante de la vida 0 Comments S.T.E.A.M.
I think of you often
It’s like you moved into my mind
In your presence my hearts softens
And I wish I can pause time
What you do to me
Is totally inexplicable
You can give me an order freely
My response would be predictable
I fully accept how I feel, I have to let you know
You make me want to be better, with you I know I’ll grow
I thank you for loving me, sharing your beautiful energy
I’m forever grateful to destiny, as destiny brought you here with me.
I love you very much amor
You are the one that I adore
If I never told you before
Each day I fall for you even more
We were lucky
estudiante de la vida 0 Comments S.T.E.A.M.
When mom brought you here
You definitely made it known
Its best that world prepare
To offer you that crown
Your spirit is beautiful
I thank god that you exist
Why are you so important
Homie I can make a list
But I know you merely human
Don’t try to shoulder it all
I’m your big bro
I’m here to catch you if you fall
But I don’t see that happening
Your mind is amazing
Kenan your destine for greatness
The bar, you’re forever raising.
Kenan you are the man
You are appreciated
Please remain who you are
Trust none of this was fabricated
Happy Birthday Granny 2020 RIP

It’s been a few years, but it still seems like yesterday.
Wish you were here, but I know you can’t come back from where you currently lay.
I know you’re still watching, I can feel your gaze
and your energy gives me strength to make it another day.
Still seeking the answers to questions you already knew.
Feeling my growth is being slowed, like it is walking through some glue.
Sometimes feeling stagnant and don’t know what to do.
Though I know it doesn’t compare to all that you been through.
How is grandpa doing? Please give auntie Emily my best.
All three studied the scriptures, so you definitely passed his tests.
I miss you very much, so I’m studying a lot too.
Then hopefully I’ll get lucky and reunite with you.
If it wasn’t for you, I probably would not have seen this earth.
So I’m forever grateful you paved the way for my birth.
Grateful for all you taught me, it’s why I’m here today.
Which is why I’m proud and sad to say,
love ya very much and Happy Birthday.

Wow, I can’t believe how much time has passed since I first intended to post this update. It has been about 5 months, and a lot of things happened since then. Helping my parents deal with and recover from the coronavirus. Losing my job, at a time where seeking employment is very difficult. A movement, re energized due to several people of color making their transition because panicked stricken individuals feeling the need to play God. Crazy, unfortunate times, but one can’t lament over this for too long. I’m not convinced it will remain this way forever. It’s a difficult task, but I’m confident I, along with others, will figure out a way to unite us Globally. I just pray it doesn’t require war and mass deaths before the future I pray for comes to pass.
Alright, I stepped off my soapbox and I shall get to the real meaning behind this article. At the time of this post, my computer has been stable for two months. This experience has definitely humbled me, and although it came with frustrations, I definitely learned and grew. Shortly after posting Part 2, my computer crashed again. “Oh the Agony!!” As an IT professional, with one of my specialities being technical support. How can I fix so many customer’s issues but can’t seem to resolve my own? This was unacceptable and I vowed I would reach a satisfactory resolution. “Back to the drawing board!”
I decided to take my PC a part again, leaving only the essentials. CPU, RAM and of course the motherboard. I heard the famous ASUS beep and my computer turned on and POST successfully. However, I noticed something that I never paid much attention to in the past. Even though the computer booted, I realized an LED on the motherboard was not the right color. Unfortunately the motherboard manual couldn’t explain it, but it did get me thinking. My RAM has gen 5/6 written on the label, but my CPU and motherboard was generation 9. In hindsight, this seems very obvious, but at this moment I had an epiphany. Let me try obtaining some RAM for this generation’s CPU and motherboard. I procured the Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4 DRAM 2666MHz (PC4-21300) C16 Memory Kit – Black and hastily inserted them into my DIMM slots. I immediately saw a difference. The LED on the motherboard was no longer red, but instead solid green. I did it, I solved my problem. However, I was disappointed after thinking about all the various items I purchased, that weren’t necessary. Thankfully, that feeling didn’t last with me for too long. Afterall, I learned a lot because of this experience. It also gave me a good story to share, hopefully helping someone avoid the mistakes I made. Persistence was the key to solving this problem and knowledge was my reward. Unfortunately, my happiness didn’t last too long, because two months later, the computer crashed again.
However, as upset as I was that it crashed, I was still confident that I solved the original problem. A new issue arose and I definitely can take a little blame on this one. A month before crashing I was getting errors that my CPU was overheating, but I ignored it. I also would hear gurgling sound as if there was a leak or something. I had a liquid cooler that was less than a year old, so there was no possible way this thing failed on me so quickly. Yet it did, and if I read the reviews on that cooler prior to my purchase, I could have avoided this headache. So I rushed out to microcenter and purchased a CPU cooling solution that was highly rated among PC aficionados. I viewed several youtube videos as well as read several articles on PC cooling before installing it. I’m glad that I did, because after installation, my CPU was a solid 34 degrees centigrade when idle. The previous cooling solution after installation brought me to about 42 degrees. It’s been two months since then and I’m still maintaining that temperature.
I’m grateful to my father for teaching me how to build computers almost 20 years ago. I’m grateful to the creator that gave me a personality to never give up and always remain humble. This was a lesson that came with equal parts frustration and elation. The next and final thing I hope to do with this build is add three SSDs in Raid 5 configuration to replace my raid 1 storage solution. I’m also considering obtaining a larger NVMe PCIe SSD for my games. For now I just uninstall after I complete the game. However games are getting larger and larger and I’m getting lazier and lazier. We will see.
Thanks for reading!

Greetings,
When I was first learning about personal computers, I started off building my own. However, through the years with improved technology, I made a transition over to laptops. I was more focused on my college education and starting my business, that I preferred mobility over performance. Fast forward to about 5 years in as a IT professional, I realized that I needed to teach myself instead rather than wait for an opportunity elsewhere. So with some of the money I saved up, I went and procured some computer components and proceeded to build the server.
I ran into some hiccups of course. Building the PC, I didn’t have much trouble, as it was just like riding a bike. However, the installation of ESXi wasn’t as simple. ESXi didn’t recognize the integrated NIC controller on the motherboard, forcing me to learn how to find a driver and slipstream into the installation media. So thanks to the veterans in the game, I was able to move forward. ( So if anyone is Googling about virtualization and stumbles upon this article. If you have not started yet, buy an ESXi hardware verified NIC. If you started and are having trouble with your installation, but an ESXi hardware verified NIC.) In September of 2019 the computer crashed and that’s when the madness began. It was emitting a series of beeps which my gut told me it was either power, CPU, motherboard or RAM related. I had been feeling the upgrade itch for a while and this just sent the itch into overdrive (that a bath in oatmeal couldn’t cure). I had purchased an i7-9700k CPU, a 512GB Western Digital M.2 SSD and an ASUS Z390 Prime-A. I swapped out my components, booted up and I was on my way. Playing Batman and Borderlands 2, editing videos, studying coding and practicing with simulated Cisco routers and switches. Just having a grand old time, until, suddenly a month later..fizzzle zooot. Computer shuts off and would not boot back up for anything.
Before I started troubleshooting, I purchased an identical motherboard(to save my R.A.I.D), a new PSU and a new CPU cooler. I swapped out PSU and nothing. I then swapped motherboard and kept everything else. I wanted the new PSU anyway, because the one I had prior was old and it wasn’t rated well. I pressed the power button and nothing happened. I pressed power again and it booted up and went into windows. Ahh problem solved right??… Nope, after a week, random shutdowns continued. It would stay on for 10 hours straight at one time, and three hours the next. I ran high intensity benchmark tests where the CPU would reach temps of 70 degrees, but would shut off just reading manga on Chrome with no other applications running. Not only that, regardless of how the computer shutdown( forced, graceful or random); in order to power the computer back on, I had to take off power going to the PSU and put it back on for it to boot. What the hell?
